TGUS is airing its last episode tonight. These guys need to have one of 2 things happen:

A) Netflix picks them up to make a rival to The Grand Tour

B) The Grand Tour picks them up and uses them as the alternate squad, similar to how the Mythbusters had Kari, Grant, and Tory.

TG:US wasn’t that good. It got a bit better in it’s second season but it still couldn’t hold much of my interest.

And why the heck would TGT need an alternate squad?!

If you stopped watching during season 2, you missed a lot of growth that the show experienced. They really came into their own around series 4 or so.

And they need an alternate squad because they do become a bit tiresome just the three of them after a few episodes on a binge watch. The alternates really couldn’t hurt.

That's nice. It doesn't help that I really just didn't like the hosts. My time was better spent watching Top Gear re-runs.

I support the mythbusters format. TGUS came into its own when they started focusing on road trips. Plus, I could see imagine alliances forming: Tanner & hammond, clarkson & adam, and everybody versus james may.
